Signs of Spring

Hamster, at least I think it is Hamster, has awaken from his/her winter slumber. And spent the morning sunning.

Long time readers know that there were two Eastern Painted Turtles in our back pond last year. As Hamster is much more tolerant of humans  I'm assuming this is Hamster as it lingered long enough to get a couple of pictures. The newcomer dives for cover at the first sight of us.

Whichever it is, it is nice to see them back.
