More Digging

On Christmas morning I woke to find that one of our Willow Trees had toppled over in the night. As I noted in that post, we knew the tree was dying, but we hoped it would remain standing for woodpeckers.

To that end, I've 'planted' some of the pieces. Insects and fungi will likely find homes. Birds will find perches. And hopefully woodpeckers will peck away.

Who am I kidding. Clearly it is really for my giant slingshot. All I need now is a really big rubber band.
