Meanwhile, Out At The Back Bubbler ...

A Veery has been visiting.

It has visited a couple of times over the past few days.

Alas, these images are not the best. The trail cam was too close to the pond. Bummer. I've since repositioned it. So maybe there will be better shots in the days to come. Fingers crossed.

Veery is a rare bird in our yard. We've only seem one once before.

Nice to know they're still around.

I had originally ID'd this bird as a Wood Thrush. But I've since been convinced otherwise. Although I'm still not entirely sure.
