Leaf Bathing

I mentioned in the Worm-eating Warbler post that we have a mister set up in the Feeder Garden.

And it seems the aforementioned warbler appreciates that we do.

You can see how wet the leaves are.

That must sure feel good on a hot day.

And it has been hot around here of late.

I kept expecting it to a 'slip and slide' move down the leaf.

Very refreshing, as anyone who's draped a cold wet towel over their head on a hot day can attest to.
