As I type this a glance out the window reveals at least a dozen Ruby-throated Hummingbirds.
Seems I'm not the only one to notice.
A Chinese Mantid, in ambush position.
We had moved the feeder from its previous position, just off the deck amongst the flowers in the garden, when we noticed the mantis hanging out there
This time I repositioned the mantis. Hopefully it stays away.
We'll be watching.
