Legs

One morning on our NewEngland trip I awoke and looked up to the top of the tent and saw this:


"What is that", I thought and "that's a lot of legs". So I got up and looked. And took some not so great pictures (the netting of the tent and the light conspired to foil my attempts). Mating Harvestmen I believe.

And then The Atlantic, and excellent magazine I subscribe to, sent out this story, as a link on their daily free enewsletter yesterday:  Check Out the Gams on These Harvestmen.

So I did. Alas, the netting makes it well nigh impossible to tell what's going on.

But thanks to The Atlantic, I know there's something to look for. So I will.
