Still Here

 The Prothonotary Warbler, Wednesday, September 16th.

It seems there is just one bird left, the others on their way Mexico to spend the winter.

Generally gone from these parts by the end of August, the latest we've previously recorded one was September 4, 2018, this one is certainly lingering.

So while we, and others, are certainly enjoying its continued presence in the yard, one wonders how long it can stay before it really has to get a move on.

I hope it doesn't wait too long.
