A Few Other Good Birds

In addition to the Prothonotary Warbler putting in an appearance, I mentioned that there were a few other good birds after the visitor had left. Here are a couple I got images of.

A Pine Warbler, which stayed high up in the trees.

A male American Redstart in the bird bath area. One of seven Redstarts we had in the yard.

A female Scarlet Tanager, just outside my office window. This bird has been here a couple of days now. You might recall the male, which back in June spent some time in the yard as well.

A barely blog worthy image of a Hooded Warbler. Another bird that has been here for a while.

And the ubiquitous Mourning Dove, which few would consider a good bird. I spooked up over twenty in the parking are one morning last week.

Just a normal day here at Piney Place.
