Weekend Wanderings ... Whitesbog

This past Sunday Patty and I both decided independently that we needed to get out of the house, get outside, and get moving. Our Friend Bernie had the same thoughts so we agreed to meet at Whitesbog after lunch and go wandering.

So we did.

The morning had started clear and sunny. But midway through were snow squalls; noticeable but proving to be inconsequential.

And by the early afternoon there was no wind and almost completely overcast skies.

Such conditions, with mild temps for late December, were just right for a post Christmas weekend wander.

The calm made for nice reflections.

And the clouds were like a giant soft box.

We three had our binoculars, but bird life was scarce.

Human life was not. Seems we weren't the only folks who needed a bit outside time.
