These birds are not usually found in these parts. In fact, except for the Galapagos Penguin, they are strictly southern hemisphere birds. And even the Galapagos Penguin rarely ventures far past the Equator into the northern hemisphere.
Nor are they often found in trees. They do like water, and as you can see there is plenty of that.
And you'd think, being native to mostly cold places like Antarctica, they wouldn't need scarves nor hats around here.
But photos don't lie.
Beware of bloggers though ...

For many years my cousin Maryann and her husband Bobby hosted Easter dinner. And each year Maryann gave out rabbits to the guests. Over the years I received stuffed, ceramic, plastic, and other rabbits. But one year, for no apparent reason, I received a stuffed penguin. And when we moved here to Piney Place, the penguin was put in a tree, as part of a scavenger hunt house warming party activity.
It is still out there. But not in very good shape I'm afraid.

And about that Galapagos Penguin ...We saw, photographed, and snorkeled (one swam between my legs!) with them when we visited their neck of the woods, just days after we moved into ours.
