Rats are Critters Too

 They are certainly an unexpected yard critter, that's for sure.

So I was quite surprised to see one when I reviewed my most recent set of Back Bubbler trail cam images.

I don't know the exact species. It is likely a Brown Rat (Rattus norvegicus) or less likely a House Rat (Rattus rattus), although it would have a longer tail.

But it is hard to tell from these images. The rat did show up for two days, so perhaps I'll get some better images over the next several days. Until then it will remain Rat sp.
