Barb's Hike

Our friend Barb lived at the Rancocas Nature Center and it was one of her favorite places. So to honor her memory and celebrate her life, we gathered there for a hike.

As we wandered we saw wildlife, like these White-tailed Deer. Barb loved animals, and made working with animals her life's work as a vet tech. 

We also saw birds, butterflies, and dragonflies, three of Barb's favorite things.

Barb also enjoyed botany and gardening, and we enjoyed all of the plant life that she walked amongst everyday in the meadows at the RNC. 

Patty and I are lucky enough to have inherited a number of the plants she had at her home. We are preparing an area in our yard as a permanent place for these plants (right now they are in pots on our deck). 

It was a very nice walk and evening celebrating a wonderful person and great friend. We miss her so.
