Racoon and Squirrel that is. Both visited this evening.
First up was squirrelly.
It was the first visit in several weeks by a Southern Flying Squirrel. We don't know where they've been. Perhaps they've just been coming later in the night while we're sleeping? All we know is somebody's been eating the peanut butter every night.
Next was a frequent visitor, a Northern Raccoon. And we know they've been hitting the peanut butter on a regular basis.
The raccoon is quite skittish and if it senses any movement in the living room, such as yours truly aiming the camera, it scampers away.
Tonight, both were here at the same time, but the squirrel was put off by the raccoon, who promptly proceeded to gobble up all the peanut butter.
