Yard Leaf-Footed Bug of the Week

Leptoglossus oppositus, a Leaf-Footed Bug.

Although, as can be seen in the image, it is the leg and not the foot which has the leaf-like appendages. These have serrated edges and are used by males to battle over females.

This critter has appeared on the blog before, as a Yard Critter in November 2019.

I've been doing this so long I'm starting to repeat myself ...
