Honey Bunny

We have a rabbit that lives in our yard. Patty's named it "Honey Bunny".

And Honey Bunny enjoys dining in our back garden, just off the deck, paying us little mind.

And while our rabbit isn't tame it has very little fear of humans. We can get to within six or so feet of it and it just sits there in an alert posture. If we stay calm it will go back to eating. We had a gathering one Saturday evening with ten people eating, drinking, talking and moving about on the deck. Our bunny spent the evening a dozen or so feet away, happily munching on the clover in the garden.

And just look at all that yummy clover!

Lettuce is also a favorite.

Honey Bunny is a daily garden visitor, most days both morning and evening.

In contrast to our first two years, we've seen multiple rabbits this spring and summer, both live and on trail cam images. We're sure it has something to do with the lack of chemicals we put in the yard, in contrast to the prior owners. And yet we've seen no young. Curious.
