November sunsets are the BEST! And these are gorgeous shots of one of the lovelier ones.
As amazing as they can be, I must admit that watching a sunset spooks me out a bit: it happens so *fast*! Which means we are spinning that fast... Ai-yi-yi!
(Am I right in thinking that's what's left of our Concrete Ship? On the oh-so-appropriately-named Sunset Beach?)
@ Ron: Imagine that, me photographing a bird! (And you liking it!) Thanks. :-)
@ Tammy: Thanks! They are, aren't they.
@ Wren: Thanks. Yeah, the whole spinning thing is fun to contemplate. Of course, we're also going around Sol, and around the black hole at the center of the Milky Way, and being pulled toward the Great Attractor. All at incredible speed. Hold onto your hat!
(Yep, the slowly sinking concrete ship. Taken the day you admonished me for not staying to talk at the hawk watch. ;-)
I maddeningly missed a similar excellent sunset last week due to bad timing (and a lack of appropriately warm clothing), so I certainly shouldn't/shan't admonish others for choosing a glorious sky over my company! ;o)
