365 Theme 318: Tent


This was my home for three days at the Delmarva Stargaze. Note the sundogs at either side and sunbeams streaming out the top. This was Friday and the night would be so good I'd be up until 5:00 AM. The next night not so much as the lighting flashed all around us.

I love the sky, the clouds looked great. I did a Cancer 3day walk and stayed in one of that sort of tent. I wasn't so in photography then. I love the challenge of photos with various types of light or lack of it. Great job on this one.

Are the sundogs the rainbow like spots near the left and right margins right above the treeline? I've never been quite sure what one is...

Nice capture of the burst of sunlight. A vertically cropped version with just the tent and burst of sun would be cool too.
