This canopy went for a short journey across the cove. Not long after this it blew over, lodging itself in the coral. The owners were then able to retrieve it, a bit soggy, but none the worse for wear.

All week at the Winter Star Party it was quite windy. Too windy on some nights to use my 16" Dobsonian reflector. A scope set up next to mine, another Dobsonian, was actually blown over. Fortunately it was not seriously damaged. I was able to observe using a smaller scope, my 80 mm refractor, and by using scopes set up by the other attendees. But the wind was a disappointment.

A big oops, but a great image - way to be there!
