Moon and Saturn (December 2006)

The moon is obvious. You'll need to look closely to see Saturn. It is that white spot at bottom center. Click here for a larger version (even then it will still be small).

Wow, the moon is so clear and detailed - I did almost miss Saturn, just a speck! Really nice image!

Gorgeous shot of the moon. I would have thought Saturn was a dust spot. Weird, since it's actually a giant gas planet!

@ top5cats: I used a Canon 20D and a 100-400 mm IS L lens at 400mm, tripod mounted. It was a 1/30 sec exposure at F/5.6.
