Adjust the brightness and contrast of your monitor so that you can view each of the 17 grayscale steps from black to white. Special attention should be given to the black end of the scale. The darkest step should be made as dark as possible while you are also able to distinguish it from the next lighter step.

Are you sure that wasn't done with a series of mirrors and only one house.
Lovely photo well presented
Good take on the theme. There were a series of identical "company houses" in the valley where I live, but I wouldn't have thought to go and see if they are still there.
Love what the color of the roofs bring to the image. Nice picture!
