@ Tammy: Thanks. Yeah he was playing hide and seek with me around the tree. Out of twenty some shots these were the only two good ones. Most were blurry, only half a bird, or both.
@ Terri: Nope, not a woodpecker, a brown creeper. A difficult bird to spot and even harder to photograph. (And thanks for dropping by again.)

Nice one is he a woodpecker? That long beak would make me think so, but I am not a birder.

Nearly as hard to see as the one I spotted near the red flowers late last, year, but maybe you didn't see that.
That is some effective camouflage! I'll have to keep an eye out for this one. Looks like his range probably extends up here in Ontario.
