Adjust the brightness and contrast of your monitor so that you can view each of the 17 grayscale steps from black to white. Special attention should be given to the black end of the scale. The darkest step should be made as dark as possible while you are also able to distinguish it from the next lighter step.

Very clever capture for the theme. He has spectacular coloring.
How luminous he is. Those little white jaws look that they could do some damage. You have a good eye for spotting the smaller creatures in their environment. Funny about the number of spots...
I was hiking in the forest last week and saw one of these for the first time - love that bright green!! Great image!
I had to check out the larger photo. This is a very nice shot with great color. You do seem to find some of the most amazing creatures to photograph.
