Trying to photograph a hunting harrier, 100+ yards away, with a tripod mount camera probably wasn't the best strategy.First of a (hopefully very!) occasional series of bad pictures that I actually like. What do you think?

I like the sense of motion, he looks like a great specimen. The colors in the background are really nice too.
If I had taken that I would have told the the truth that it was a bird of prey fighting for it;s life in a sudden wind squall, and that I had decided to risk my equipment, Just to get this wonderful Action shot. - Sounds better than whoops blew it!

I like that it turns hawk into an abstracton almost.
