@ Danudin: I have a Ford Escape hybrid. It is a small SUV. I set the camera up on a tripod under the back hatch. Safe and secure. Mostly.

Do you do astro photography? I would like to give it a try, but I have a fork mount (CPC 800), which means I would need a wedge, and I don't see that happening anytime soon. I would love to see some of your astro photography, if you do that also. I did see a couple of great shots of the moon. The one with Saturn was nice.

@ Linda: I'm a novice astrophotographer at best. Moon shots are pretty much it so far. But I'm looking to do more. So maybe I'll have some to post later this year.
